Textra

Integrated Control Model

The Textra Keypad has four additional buttons to allow each letter and number to be keyed by a single finger stroke.

The Integrated Control Design reference model takes the revolution a step further with the four Textra Buttons cleverly becoming substitutes for dedicated navigation and function keys, allowing a reduced button count and a smaller overall keypad size.

Colour coding aids identification:

  • Blue = Left soft function key
  • Yellow = Right soft function key
  • Red = On-hook (stop) key
  • Green = Off-hook (go) key

Each Textra Button with its surrounding four number keys forms a button constellation that may be used to indicate eight directions so no separate joystick or rockerpad is required for navigation.

As well as text entry and cursor movement the reference model covers navigation, browser control, colour linking and familiar phone operations.
